Your data, treated with care.
A plain-English summary of how Tech Jackstones collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information.
Six principles that guide us.
Minimum collection
We only collect data we genuinely need to deliver, support, or improve our services.
Encrypted by default
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard ciphers.
No surveillance ads
We don't sell or rent personal data to advertisers — full stop.
Region-aware storage
Customer data is stored in the region you contract for, with documented residency.
You stay in control
Access, correct, export, or delete your data on request — no friction, no fees.
Plain-English notices
Important changes are explained in language a human can read.

1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as name, business email, phone number, and project details when you contact us, request a proposal, or sign a service agreement.
We also collect technical information automatically when you visit our website, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate location, in order to keep the site secure and to understand which content is useful.
2. How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, deliver contracted services, send relevant operational communications, invoice clients, and improve the quality of our engineering and content.
We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Sharing and processors
We share information with a small set of vetted sub-processors — for hosting, email, analytics, and CRM — under contracts that require confidentiality and adequate technical safeguards.
We disclose information to authorities only where legally compelled, and where permitted, we will notify the affected client first.
4. Retention
Personal data tied to a contract is retained for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by tax, audit, or regulatory law — typically up to seven years.
Marketing contact data is retained until you opt out or after 24 months of inactivity, whichever comes first.
5. Your rights
You can request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction, or objection in respect of your personal data. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or India, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the DPDP Act respectively. To exercise them, write to privacy@techjackstones.com.
6. International transfers
Where data crosses borders we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or equivalent safeguards. Sub-processor lists and transfer impact assessments are available on request to enterprise clients.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes are flagged at the top of this page for at least 30 days and, where required, communicated by email.
